New Online Health Fitness Trainer Diploma Program

Bryan College is pleased to announce that the Health Fitness Trainer Diploma Program is now offered 100% online! 

Residents from Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Alberta are eligible to register for this program and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

A Health Fitness Trainer career offers a rewarding work environment and job stability. According to Canada employment trends, jobs for fitness trainers and exercise instructors are expected to increase 7.9 percent through the year 2028.

The program provides students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in a health fitness career. The curriculum is aligned with the employer's needs to give graduates the skills to become job-ready – all from the comfort of home!

Graduates gain valuable skills needed for the modern marketplace such as:

• Core focus on anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• 160 hours of hands-on practical experience
• Personal and group exercise training for general and specialty populations
• Resistance, cardiorespiratory, and flexibility training
• Nutrition and weight management instruction
• Business, finance, and marketing skills
• Clinical training for medical considerations
• National certification test preparation for NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) - one exam attempt included in tuition!

As a benefit to all Bryan College Health Fitness Trainer students, the following items are included in the program:

• A Welcome Kit to perform at-home practice and learn from the comfort of your home, including calipers, body measuring tape, a stackable resistance band set, and NOSSK lite trainer
• All books, courseware, and software
• Preparation for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certification - test prep with one exam attempt included in tuition
