Bryan College's Massage Therapy program has officially achieved Accreditation from the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA)! We’re proud to share this exciting news for future Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in Ontario.

This recognition marks a huge milestone in our journey and reflects the high standards that guide our Massage Therapy program. For students considering a career in massage therapy, it's one more reason to feel confident about choosing Bryan College.

CMTCA Accreditation: Key Points for Students

  • The Diploma in Massage Therapy Program at Bryan College has been granted CMTCA Accreditation.
  • Beginning January 1, 2027, students must graduate from a CMTCA-accredited massage therapy program in order to be eligible for licensing by the CMTO.

What is CMTCA Accreditation?

The Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA) evaluates massage therapy programs across Canada to ensure they meet rigorous national standards for education and training.

CMTCA Accreditation means our program has been thoroughly reviewed and formally recognized for meeting the Council's rigorous requirements. For you as a student, it's confirmation that Bryan College is a trusted institution committed to delivering an education you can count on.

What This Means for Bryan College Students

By choosing Bryan College's massage therapy diploma program, students can feel confident they are fully prepared to meet all CMTO requirements to become a registered massage therapist.

Here's what students can expect:

  • Hands-on Training: Practical experience in the Student Massage and Spa Therapy Clinic, which serves the public.
  • CMTO Exam Preparation: A curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pass licensing exams.
  • Future-ready Education: CMTCA Accreditation ensures that Bryan College meets the future licensing requirements in Ontario.
  • Financial Aid Options: Eligible students may qualify for funding through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).

This matters to your future as an RMT because it proves your education is recognized for quality, shows employers you’re career-ready, and guarantees your training keeps pace with the industry.

Bryan College's achievement of CMTCA Accreditation is a major milestone for both the college and its students. Now is the perfect time to begin your journey toward becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario!
